Overview 

As part of its unwavering commitment to serving the Hindu community of Bengal, HSKS Organization  organized a blanket distribution drive from 29 Dec to 8 Jan. The drive aimed at providing warmth and  comfort to underprivileged Hindus who face immense challenges during the winter season. A total of  120 blankets were distributed to those in need, including homeless individuals, daily wage earners,  

and the elderly. 

This initiative was conducted at Dsitricts:- North 24 Parganas, South 24 Parganas, Howrah, East  Midnapore, West Midnapore, Birbhum, Murshidabad, identified as high-need areas. Beneficiaries  gathered at the venue where volunteers ensured a well-organized distribution process, extending  support with respect and compassion.

Blankets Distributed: 120 blankets. 

Beneficiaries: The event focused solely on helping needy Hindus from various socio-economic  backgrounds. 

Volunteers: The program saw the participation of 80 dedicated volunteers from HSKS. Event Summary 

The event commenced with an address by Sourav Sasmal, President of HSKS, who emphasized the  organization’s dedication to uplifting the Hindu community. This was followed by blanket  distribution, where volunteers worked tirelessly to ensure that assistance was provided equitably.  Community leaders were present to extend their support and express gratitude for HSKS’s impactful  initiatives. 

For the beneficiaries, this initiative brought both physical warmth and a sense of belonging. The  presence of volunteers and community members reinforced the value of standing united as a society,  especially during trying times. 

Impact and Significance 

The timely distribution of blankets has significantly helped many vulnerable Hindus during the harsh  cold season. By alleviating one of the basic struggles of winter, this initiative provided immediate  relief and strengthened the trust and goodwill within the Hindu community in Bengal.
